Tell us who you are and what you do creatively?
I am Indigo, a Fairy Princess living in the human world...specifically in the Los Angeles California part of the human world! I am a freelance designer, party performer for children, and I make most of my costumes myself! (My human name is Lorraine)
Fairy Element?
I'm an Earth Fairy and don't really fly very much even when I reveal my wings.
What’s your favorite flower?
My favorite flower is the Fuchsia Plant - particularly the purple and dark pink variety as those are my favorite colors!
As a fairy do you live by the river, mountains, jungle, fields, or another place?
As a fairy in the Magical Realm, I live in an Enchanted Forest. My home is in a beautiful Palace.
When you close your eyes and imagine your wingspan, what type of wings do you have? Dragonfly, Butterfly, Etherial…or other?
My wings change with my mood but most of the time they look like sparkly irredentist butterfly wings.
Do you have a favorite fairytale, or book that has inspired you personally?
Disney Princess EVERYTHING!
I grew up with Disney princesses and I am certain the movies, story books and coloring books where I colored all the characters brown were a direct influence on my Fairy Princess lifestyle! As a child my favorite was story and princess was Cinderella. As an adult, Cinderella is second to The Princess and the Frog.
Are there any daily rituals that help keep you grounded?
Nope! Scatterbrained procrastinator that works on projects in quick, short sprints. If my daughter weren't in school, I wouldn't know what day it was sometimes!
Can you tell us a little more about being a professional princess, and what your business offers?
Princess Indigo’s Palace provides Princesses of Color to entertain at children’s parties. For a standard 2 hour Princess Package, characters tell stories, make crafts, dance, play games and create magical moments that children will remember, always.
